For 128 years the members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Upper Columbia Conference have faithfully met the challenges of their commission - to shine the gospel to the world "like streams of light."
To Shine the Gospel
At the last Constituency session members of the Upper Columbia Conference committed to an inspired vision for the future:
- Spiritual growth - Getting serious about heaven as never before
- Empowering young people - Giving our children every opportunity to know Jesus
- New Outreach - Drawing people to Jesus by meeting them where they are and loving them as He does
- Discipleship - Mobilizing us all for His service
Everything we are, everything we do, everything we sacrifice, flows from this framework; a vision taking shape in the Streams of Light campaign.
Like Streams of Light
"God is calling us, right now, to tackle a gigantic task. But I know we can do it together," says Max Torkelsen, Upper Columbia Conference president. "This capital campaign will serve as an exciting example of what God can do when people join together for the sake of others. Like streams of light we will generate light, reaching the boundaries of our conference and around the world."
