Nearly 33 years ago Tricia and I settled in Wenatchee. After touring with the Heritage Singers and visiting nearly every Adventist church in North America, we joined Upper Columbia Conference’s family.
Since then, we have been so blessed! Camp meetings, youth conferences and Camp MiVoden trips nurtured our relationship with Christ. How thankful we are for the role the church plays in our lives!
But with it comes responsibility. We recognize and value the sacrifices our hard-working pioneers made for us. Their forward-thinking commitment is the driving force behind what the conference is today. Now it is our turn to be stewards of the vision.
We challenge you to join us in making Streams of Light a success. Unique and remarkably inclusive, the capital campaign highlights four key initiatives the Upper Columbia Conference constituents chose as top priorities: Adventist Education, Camp MiVoden, Church Planting and KidsBibleinfo.com.
While focusing primarily on youth, the projects also enrich and empower all of us to become more effective disciples for Christ.
Working together—building on each other’s generosity and talent—we accomplish so much more! As you read this brochure, consider how you might help. The variety of projects provides a way for each of us to do a part—big or small.
Please pray with us for God’s abundant blessings that our work together will touch lives with His light!
